American Eskimos are beautiful and snowy white dog. It has triangular shaped ears and a heavily plumed tail. Its coat is always in white color or white with cream marking and its skin are pink and gray. American Eskimos are longer than tall. They are available in three varieties: Toy, Miniature and Standards. Toy has height between 9 to 12 inches and weight between 6 to 10 pounds. Miniatures have 12 to 15 inches height and 10 to 20 pounds weight. While Standard have a height between 15 to 19 inches and weight between 18 to 35 pounds.

American Eskimos are charming, affectionate and loving dog. They love children. They are intelligent, alert and easy to train. Eskimos are not friendly with the strangers, even they will not allow to a stranger to enter at home until their master will not say that it is ok. They also need a friendly atmosphere and want to be a part of the family. He will not tolerate ignorance. This breed loves to bark. American Eskimos love to walk. They are okay with apartments if sufficient exercise is given to him.
