Borzoi is a tall and aristocratic dog having a long, thin and narrow head. Its nose and eyes are black. The ears lie back on the neck. It is available in white, golden, tan and gray colors with black marking. Height of the dog of this breed is at least 28 inches and bitch’s is at least 26 inches. Weight for the dog is 75 to 105 pounds and for the bitches 60 – 90 pounds.

The Borzoi is sweet, intelligent and a loyal dog to their family. They can be easily trained in obedience. Borzoi often keeps themselves quite clean and rarely barks. They are very fast. He can be socializing with cats and other pets. Borzoi is a noble dog with children. He will be a hunter during racing and fighting because it has keen teeth that can kill a small animal in a second. During a growing stage, they need a nutritional diet. They need a plenty of exercise to maintain their fitness. They will do okay in apartments if sufficient exercise is given to them.
