Sugar was very shy at first and mostly slept and ate very little. She has been like a recovering alcoholic.... to see her grow and come alive has been an extra-ordinary experience. She lives in the desert of So. Cal. and is surrounded with rabbits. At first she was a handful but now she only perks up when she is startled. What has suprised me the most is her 'love' of people. If she sees anyone her food be damned and you can't get the smile off her face.
She has been a most surpising joy in my life..... plus, with all the walking, my doctor says he is going to tell everyone to get a rescue Greyhound! |
